Here is the first home office snap shot. This is a couple of photos of my desk and the equipment I use. You will notice a MacBook, iPhone, ScanSnap scanner, Mac Mini and other stuff. I will provide a list with links to the equipment I use. I will also provide a photo of my entire office just as soon as I clean some of it up. However, I thought this would get us started.
Now that I have shown you mine, it is your turn. Please send me a photo of your home office and a link to your Web site or blog. I would also like a brief description of what you do in your office. It is my plan to do a feature home office weekly. If the response is good, I will consider doing it more than once a week.

Looks like a great setup. I am manic, myself, about wire arrangement and control.
Grant, so this is the nerve center!
Yes, Chuck I agree. The wiring does need some work. It is amazing how fast the most organized wiring can become an entangled mess. I promise to work on that.
Yes. I was going to say something about the wiring but didn’t think that would be nice as a first comment ;^)
Nah, a few wires never hurt anybody. All you need is a desk that has a back to it to keep the rats nest out of site.
I just wish that my desk could look that neat!!! This is the link to what my desk looked like not so long ago.

As I look right now it’s not very different at the moment. Where do you keep all the “stuff”!?!
Great Site Grant! Who did your site and logo design? I love it.
Looks like you’ve got a few external hard drives there. Do you daisy chain them for redundant backup or are they for separate computer backups? Makes me want to move home!
Actually Long, one is my Mac Mini, one is my external HD, one is my external modem for the Mini as pageSender did not like the internal one. There is the SBCGlobal hub and a wireless router. And the Home Office is the only way to go.
I came across your site looking for Skype information - I’m new to Skype, and want to get a phone/headset/speakerphone setup. Any suggestions?
BTW, I used to have an open desk like yours. I used twist ties to collect the cables.
