For those of you who don’t know, ZOHO has announced you can now work offline with you documents. You have to install Google Gear which allows you work offline with the documents you have in ZOHO.

While I don’t think this will replace a good word processor you have installed on your computer. It does give you an option of a service that for the time being is free. I have actually tried the service on my iPhone and it does allow me to edit documents. Not a feature I plan to use often since I carry my trusty MacBook with me 24/7. My wife accuses me of having my MacBook connected to my hip. If truth be told, I don’t leave the office without it.
