Finally, what would a hints and tips be if we didn’t mention at least one post about distractions. Secrets to staying focused in your home office is this weeks feature on that subject.

That is it for this [last] week. Get me your suggestions for links for next [this] week’s edition. And if anyone would like to host the Home Office TIps and Hints…Links on their own blog, let me know. It might be fun to spread this around and turn it into our own little “carnival”. We won’t call it that, but you get the idea.

GREAT links. I’m really interested to find out more about this Google Gears thing and how you’re using it. I use Google for a lot of things but I’m still having to rely on other services, so the more tools I can consolidate into one virtual location, the more smoothly I can run my VA business.

And I think I’m going to print off that article from Entrepreneur.com about staying focused while working at home. I wonder if that’s one of the reasons that so many people who work from home DO need a Virtual Assistant…because all of the Home Office distractions make it hard to get things done, especially when its the kind of non-income-generating tasks they dread doing to begin with.
